We wanted to create a sense of sacredness for members when engaging in the space

Our Move
Our strategy was twofold: make holistic health relatable and create a sense of place within Re<>Defined. We achieved this through a vibrant, contemporary visual identity and an intuitive way-finding system within the centre. This design narrative not only enhanced brand storytelling but also fostered a sense of belonging and connection among the members and the wider community.
SENSE OF SELF
Antimony created an atomic graphic system that could be flexible and adaptable across the various touch points for the brand. The logo was developed based off the visual research into sacredness for New Zealanders. This meant: mountains, meeting places and the Marae (Maori meeting place). It was important that the symbol was a recognisable shape for Re<>Defined and their community to use proactively, conveying a sense of movement and transformation. Creating a family of supporting secondary shapes with the triangle representing sense of place, the diamond for wellbeing and the circle representing community.
COMMUNITY THROUGH DESIGN
Our primary aim for the creative direction was to create a layered, yet accessible brand narrative across multiple client journey touch points. The narrative has the ability to expand and contract when required, connecting the dots and weaving aspects of the brand, its offerings, and the space with members and the wider community to interact and commune with.
